Since the 1st July 2022, we have introduced a Miles Martial Arts ranking system for students who have taken part in competitions. Students who enter any competition or are successful in winning medals will receive a set number of points. These points will be collated over the course of the year, and students will be awarded prizes at the end of the year based on various achievements.
Competitions are an important part of a student’s Taekwon-do journey. Here at Miles Martial Arts we aim to offer our students a variety of competitions throughout each year. We have a dedicated team ready to help any student wanting to compete. Whether that be with the Squad sessions we offer for those wanting to improve their sparring skills or our Competition co-ordinator who organises all entries and keeps everyone updated on any details or rule changes a student might need. All competition correspondence can be found on our Student Online Resources Facebook page, or contact mmacompetitions@gmail.com .
A busy Sunday 3rd July saw 2 competitions on the same day, the Impact competition in Haywards Heath, and the UKTA competition in Guildford.
Congratulations everyone, another awesome team effort.
More success at the LTSI South East competition on 27th March.
Lukasz Pelczynski won the silver medal in sparring .
James Clucas might have missed treating his mum to her Mother’s Day lunch but instead took her a well deserved 4th place medal also in sparring.
